Mark serves as the Director of Business Development for StrataBare and works personally with many of the organization’s clients to help them leverage their technology investments to bring measurable results to the company’s business operations.
Mark Gillie is an “operational technologist” who brings over thirty years of technical and operational expertise to the StrataBare team. He began his career in the food and beverage industry coming up through the ranks of operations before getting into the technology domain as restaurants were first beginning to embrace the value of technology as a mainstream affordable operational tool. His restaurant operations, multi unit management and food & beverage controller experience prepared him well to shape emerging technologies into the rapidly changing landscape of restaurant and hospitality organizations both large and small. He deployed some of the first PC-based point of sale systems to include the earliest touchscreen applications in the restaurant world. For over twenty years he worked with MICROS Systems, NCR, IBM and Island Pacific to develop and implement solutions into restaurant, hospitality and retail environments.
In 2014, Mark assumed the role of Vice President of Sales for HyperActive Technologies, the leading provider of drive thru systems, digital signage, predictive kitchen analytics tools and customer facing kiosk solutions. His work included global deployments of technology with over 40 brands to include the largest restaurant and retail operators in the world. His technology career has expended to include quick service, fast casual, table service, hotel, stadium and casino expertise.
